Kathleen de Leon received the biggest surprise at the 1970's themed birthday party she organised for her boyfriend and former Savage Garden member Daniel Jones on Saturday night.

A teary-eyed Jones professed his love and proposed in front of more than 100 people - including his shocked parents - at Brisbane's GPO, and presented Ms de Leon with a plastic flashing ring. She said yes. Kathleen, of children's group Hi-5, and Jones met at the logies three years ago."
